Training “Women - Leaders of Changes in Local Communities” for representatives of Mykolaiv and Kherson oblasts
On September 22, 2017 training “Women - Leaders of Changes in Local Communities” will take place for the representatives of Mykolaiv and Kherson oblasts. It aims at teaching and motivating women for leadership and social responsibility at the local level.
The target groups of the training are the following:
- women-deputies of regional, district, city and village councils of Mykolaiv and Kherson oblasts;
- women-members of city and village executive councils' bodies of Mykolaiv and Kherson oblasts;
- women-leaders and members of political parties of Mykolaiv and Kherson oblasts;
- women-leaders and members of public organizations of Mykolaiv and Kherson oblasts;
The training will help to master the basics of public speaking skills and presentations of once ideas; it will also provide the participants with the toolkit for the protection of women's rights and opportunities at the local, national and international levels and will help to get the understanding of the process of preparation and implementation of a social project that can help to solve the issues of local communities.
All participants will be proposed to develop their own social projects and present them at the final session in Kyiv where 100 participants are to be involved, including around 48 representatives from regions, activists in protection and promotion of women's rights in Ukraine (politicians, national and international experts), as well as donors who may consider the funding possibilities for the projects presented.

Participants will be provided with meals during the day and the possibility of travel reimbursement within 300 UAH (both sides) in case of original tickets availability.
