The Charitable Foundation «Equality and mutual respect» covers all the territory of Ukraine and territory of other countries through the establishment of its branches, subsidiaries and representative offices.
The Charitable Foundation «Equality and mutual respect» was established for the purpose of charitable activities aimed to develop society, ensure and protect human and civil rights, fundamental freedoms and legal interests of supporting democratic processes, legal representation and legal aid, protection of the socio-economic standards, social protection and poverty reduction, development of science, implementation of charitable programs according to the spheres of activities of the Foundation, development of local communities.

The project was aimed to promote the implementation of the EU directives on anti-discrimination and gender equality into Ukrainian legislation and practice, foster gender equality within the political parties and overcome horizontal and vertical gender segregation in the traditionally "masculine" government institutions, i.e. security, diplomacy, law enforcement etc.
The project was developed to provide a comprehensive analysis of measures used by Ukrainian political parties to increase involvement of women in policy making; to identify the main challenges on the intra and interparty level; to highlight innovative approaches implemented by the Ukrainian parties in the recent years; to engage more women; to discuss what discourages political parties from becoming more equally representative of women.
The main goal of the project was to create a common German-Ukrainian understanding of the role of women in foreign policy. In the long run, the project was developed to contribute to raising “gender-awareness” of decision-makers and shapers of domestic and foreign policy.
A transnational dialogue initiative for the development and dissemination of civil society perspectives on the peace process in eastern Ukraine was implemented by the Charitable Foundation «Equality and mutual respect». The project was developed to strengthen women in their participation in peace processes and the organization of their societies, in accordance with international documents such as the UNSC Resolution 1325 (2000).
